Timesheet calculator
Two weeks on one sheet. Enter start, end and lunch for each day and get the decimal hours payroll asks for.
How to use it
- The sheet opens with two weeks, Monday to Sunday. Change Period to 1 week if you only need one.
- Enter start, end and break minutes for each day. Use Copy Monday to all weekdays if the schedule is the same every day.
- Open Pay and overtime to add a rate and an overtime rule.
- Download the CSV for payroll, or print the sheet to sign.
Why decimal hours
Payroll and invoicing software multiply hours by a rate, so they need hours as a number, like 7.75, not 7:45. This sheet shows decimal hours first and hours and minutes next to them.
Overtime on a bi-weekly sheet
Overtime is counted for each week on its own, not across both weeks. If someone works 44 hours in week one and 38 in week two, that is 4 overtime hours, not 2. Adding the weeks together first is a common mistake that underpays people.
Where M-Tracker fits
A timesheet is a record you fill in after the fact. In M-Tracker the hours come from the work itself: you start a task, the timer runs, and at the end of the week the sheet is already done, split by task and goal. No screenshots, no keystroke tracking.
Try M-Tracker free14-day trial. No credit card. No employee surveillance.
Questions people ask
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up, nothing stored.
Can I import the CSV into payroll?
The CSV has one row per day with decimal hours, which most payroll tools accept. Check your system's import format.
What if a shift goes past midnight?
Enter the real end time. The sheet counts it as the next day.
