Hourly to salary calculator
Enter an hourly wage. See what it adds up to in a week, a month and a year.
How to use it
- Type the hourly wage.
- Open Hours, weeks and currency to change hours per week or paid weeks.
- Read the yearly, monthly, every-two-weeks, weekly and daily pay.
The math
Multiply the hourly wage by hours per week, then by 52.
At 40 hours, that is the wage times 2,080. So $25 an hour is $25 × 2,080 = $52,000 a year.
The quick version: double the hourly wage and add three zeros. $25 an hour is about $50,000. $30 is about $60,000.
Common wages per year
| Hourly | Yearly (40 hours, 52 weeks) | Monthly |
|---|---|---|
| $15 | $31,200 | $2,600 |
| $20 | $41,600 | $3,467 |
| $25 | $52,000 | $4,333 |
| $30 | $62,400 | $5,200 |
| $40 | $83,200 | $6,933 |
