Send a submittal that answers their brief in their own words, in line one. "You said the last person couldn't handle the cold. Maria has two winters in cold storage." Nothing says "we listened" louder than that. Gifts and lunches make a client feel liked. Work that shows you heard them makes a client feel special, and that is the feeling they stay for.
What "special" means to a client
A staffing client does not want to be your friend. They want to be understood. They said something on the intake call, something specific and a little personal, like "the last guy kept wandering off the line" or "my lead is strict and people quit on her." When your submittal answers that exact thing, in their words, they feel heard. That is special.
Line one, in their words
Here is the difference.
Ordinary: "Experienced warehouse associate with forklift certification and strong work ethic."
Special: "You told me your lead runs a tight floor and the last two people quit on her. Marcus spent three years under a lead the crew called 'the sergeant' and stayed. Forklift card renewed March. Confirmed for nights."
Same candidate. The second one answers the client's brief, in the client's words, before the client has to look. It takes one extra sentence and ten seconds of remembering what they said.
Four other things that work
Write the order back the same day. In their words. "Here's what I heard." Clients feel special when their words come back to them, accurate.
Remember the one thing. Every client has one thing that burned them. Put it on the order as its own line and answer it in every submittal.
Bad news from you first. "Marcus can't make Monday. Priya is confirmed, same card, same shift." A client who hears it from you, with the fix, feels looked after.
A report they did not ask for. Once a month, one page: orders, fills, who stuck, what changed. It says "we are paying attention to your account" without a single sales line.
What does not work
Gifts that arrive after a bad order. "Valued partner" emails. A lunch where you pitch. Clients see through all of it, and it makes the next bad morning feel worse.
Where M-Tracker fits
The client's words are the brief. In M-Tracker, the order is written down with the client's must-haves and the one thing that burned them, and each submittal is read against it before the client sees it, with a plain-words note on what is answered and what is missing. A client report, sent as a link they open without an account, is the page they did not ask for and will read.

Questions people ask
Is it OK to quote the client back to themselves?
Yes, lightly. "You mentioned the cold" is fine. A full transcript is not.
What if I did not take the intake call?
Read the written order. If the one thing is not on it, ask whoever took the call, and add it.
How often should I send the unasked-for report?
Monthly for active accounts. Quarterly for quiet ones. Always one page.
Work you can trust, without redoing it.
Your team gets feedback before work reaches you, or your client.
