KPI generator
Describe your team and the data you have. Get a short list of KPIs you can actually measure.
How to use it
- Say what the team or goal is. "Customer support team; we want faster, better answers."
- List the data you have today. "Help desk tickets, a CSAT survey."
- Press Suggest KPIs. Each one comes with how to measure it and where the data lives.
What makes a good KPI
- It tracks an outcome. "Customers who finish setup in week one," not "emails sent."
- It has a formula. Median, percentage, count. Written down, so everyone measures it the same way.
- It has a source. You know exactly where the number comes from.
- It can move. The team's work can change it within a quarter.
- There are few of them. Three to five per team. More than that and none of them matter.
Set the target after the baseline
Many teams pick a target before they know the starting number. Measure for two to four weeks first. Then set a target that is a stretch but possible.
KPIs and OKRs
A KPI is a number you watch all the time, like a car's speed. An OKR is a goal to change something this quarter, like driving to a new city. Often a key result is "move this KPI from here to there." Our OKR generator helps you write that.
Where M-Tracker fits
M-Tracker links each task to a goal and shows how much of the team's time goes to work that moves it. It also records which work was accepted and which came back for changes, the raw numbers behind first-time-right. No screenshots and no activity tracking.
Try M-Tracker free14-day trial. No credit card. No employee surveillance.
