Quarterly plan template: from goals to this week's tasks
A quarterly plan template that links goals to projects, monthly milestones and the first week's tasks, with capacity and what you will not do. Copy it with a filled example.
Goals at the top. The projects that move them. Monthly milestones. Then the tasks for week one, so the plan starts on Monday.
When to use it
In the last two weeks of a quarter, to plan the next one. Use it for a team of 3 to 30.

Tips
- Write "we will not do." It protects the plan from good ideas.
- Plan to 80% of capacity. Something always comes up.
- End with week one. If you cannot list week one's tasks, the plan is not ready.
