Jira integration: import issues and review work inside Jira
Two ways M-Tracker works with Jira: import your assigned issues as tasks, and get a private work review inside any Jira issue with the M-Tracker panel.
Keep Jira. Add the review. M-Tracker works with Jira Cloud in two ways. Import the issues assigned to you into M-Tracker as tasks. Or review finished work right inside a Jira issue with the M-Tracker panel. Use one or both.

1. Review work inside Jira
A panel appears on every issue in the projects your admin allows. When work is finished, the person adds the finished piece (text, files, Jira attachments, or a public document link), presses Get instant review, and gets one plain paragraph: what matches the ticket, what is missing, what to change. They fix the work before moving the ticket.
- The review is private to the person who asked for it. It is not posted as a comment.
- Works for engineering tickets and for marketing, support, and ops work that lives in Jira.
- Uses the same review and the same credits as the M-Tracker app.
2. Import Jira issues into M-Tracker
Connect your Jira account from the M-Tracker web app. M-Tracker imports the issues assigned to you that are in Backlog or To Do, as tasks. Each task gets a timer, can be linked to a goal, and gets the same review when marked done. Press Sync any time to bring in new issues. Edits you make in M-Tracker are kept.
What the integration does not do yet
- The panel does not create M-Tracker tasks on its own, and does not duplicate imported tasks.
- Reviews made in the Jira panel are not yet shown inside the M-Tracker web task page.
- Changes in M-Tracker are not written back to Jira. Import is one way.
- There are no bot comments, mentions, or automatic reviews.
We would rather tell you this than have you find out.
Permissions and data
The panel asks Jira for read access to work and users. Each person connects their own verified M-Tracker account; an email typed into Jira is never treated as proof of identity. The issue text and the finished work you choose are sent to the AI model to produce the review. Files are held only while the review runs. Saved reviews stay with the person and the issue.
Supported files: PNG, JPEG, PDF, TXT, Markdown, CSV, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, up to 5 MB each, three per review. Supported links: public Google Docs, Google Drive, and Dropbox, up to 20 MB.
Pricing
The Jira app is free. Reviews use the credits in your M-Tracker plan: Starter $4 per person per month with 20 reviews, Pro $8 with 100, Enterprise $32 with 450.
