How the count works
Both dates count, the same way Excel's NETWORKDAYS works. Every weekday from the start date to the end date is one business day. Saturdays, Sundays and the holidays you chose are skipped.
Example: November 2026 has 21 weekdays. Two of them are federal holidays: Veterans Day on Wednesday, November 11, and Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 26. So from November 1 to November 30 there are 19 working days. If your office also closes the Friday after Thanksgiving, add it as a day off and you get 18.
US federal holidays
The calculator knows the 11 US federal holidays, including Juneteenth. When a holiday falls on a Saturday, it is observed on the Friday before. On a Sunday, it moves to the Monday after. The calculator uses the observed day, which is the day offices close.
Your company may not close on every federal holiday, and may close on others. Add or remove days to match.

Does it count the start date?
Yes. Both dates count if they are weekdays. If you want "10 business days from today," use Add working days, which starts counting the next day.
What about state holidays?
Add them under Other days off.
Is Juneteenth included?
Yes. It became a federal holiday in 2021.
