Meeting timer
Add everyone's name. Set the time each. The timer runs the turns so you do not have to.
How to use it
- Type one name per line.
- Set the time per person. Two minutes works for most stand-ups.
- Tick Random order if you want to mix it up.
- Press Start the meeting. Press Next person when someone finishes.
If someone runs over, their time turns red and counts up. Nobody has to interrupt.
Why a timer helps
Without a timer, the first person talks for five minutes and the last person gets thirty seconds. A 15-minute stand-up turns into 35.
A timer is fair and neutral. It is not the manager cutting someone off. It is just the clock.
A good stand-up in three questions
Keep each turn to:
- What I finished since last time.
- What I am doing next.
- What is blocking me.
Anything longer, like a problem to solve, goes to a short call after the stand-up with only the people who need to be there.
Where M-Tracker fits
Many stand-ups exist only to share status. M-Tracker shows what each person finished and what is waiting for review, from the work itself. That lets teams make stand-ups shorter, or move them to written updates on most days. No screenshots and no activity tracking.
Try M-Tracker free14-day trial. No credit card. No employee surveillance.
