Planning poker
Start a room. Share the link. Everyone votes at once, and nobody sees the cards until you reveal them.
How to use it
- Type your name and open a room.
- Press Copy link and send it to your team.
- Type what you are estimating, like the story number and a short title.
- Everyone picks a card. You will see who has voted, but not what.
- Press Reveal cards. Talk about the highest and lowest votes.
- Press New round for the next story.
Pick Fibonacci (1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13…), T-shirt sizes (XS to XL) or Hours.
Why the cards stay hidden
If the lead says "that's a 3" first, everyone else says 3. Hidden cards stop that. Each person gives their own view, so you hear from the quiet people too.
The outliers are the point
When the cards show 5, 5, 5, 8 and 13, do not just average them. Ask the 13 why. They often know about a hard part nobody else saw. Ask the low voter too. They may know a shortcut.
Then vote again. Most stories settle in one or two rounds.
Tips for faster sessions
- Write the story first. A clear story with done checks is quicker to estimate. Our user story generator helps.
- Cap the talk. Two minutes per story. If you still disagree, split the story.
- Use relative sizes. A 5 is "about twice a 3," not "5 hours."

Questions people ask
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up, no limit on rooms or players.
Are votes stored?
No. The room lives only while people are in it. Note the results before everyone leaves.
Why Fibonacci numbers?
The gaps grow as stories get bigger. That matches how unsure we are about big work.
Work you can trust, without redoing it.
Your team gets feedback before work reaches you, or your client.
