Time zone meeting planner
Add the cities your team works in. See the hours when everyone is at work.
How to use it
- Add each place your team works. Type a city or a time zone, like Asia/Tokyo.
- Set working hours. The default is 9 to 5.
- Pick the date of the meeting. Daylight saving changes by date, so this matters.
- See the hours when everyone is at work. Press Copy times to paste them into your invite.
Why the date matters
The US and Europe change their clocks on different weekends. For a few weeks each spring and fall, New York is 4 hours behind London instead of 5. Many countries, like Nigeria and India, do not change at all.
So a meeting that fits on March 1 may not fit on March 20. The planner checks the date you pick.
When there is no good time
New York and Sydney share almost no working hours. Someone will be up early or late. If that happens:
- Rotate the pain. Move the meeting time each week so the same people are not always up at 7 AM.
- Record it. Share the recording and the notes.
- Go async. A clear written update works across any time zones. Most status meetings can be a written update.
Where M-Tracker fits
Spread-out teams lose the most time to status meetings. M-Tracker shows what everyone finished and what is waiting for review, so the meeting can be about decisions, not updates. No screenshots and no activity tracking.
